Steelman: McCaskill's a hypocrite

In her latest message to supporters, former State Treasurer and current U. S. Senate candidate Sarah Steelman jumps on the revelation that Sen. Claire McCaskill billed taxpayers for travel on planes owned by her husband's company:

We've recently learned that Senator McCaskill billed taxpayers almost $88,000 to subsidize her own jet. One trip was for purely political travel, a violation of Congressional ethics rules.

No wonder the American people have lost trust in our elected officials. We are tired of Washington's double-standards and hypocrisy. While Senator McCaskill talks about cracking down on congressional travel and eliminating waste, fraud and abuse, she is letting the taxpayers help pay for her jet. We will no longer tolerate politicians demanding change from everyone else.

Senator McCaskill's rhetoric doesn't match her personal actions, or her votes. She talks, and talks, and talks of the need for fiscal discipline while she votes for the wasteful stimulus. She speaks out against earmarks while she votes for 9000 earmarks in the spending bill. She even acknowledges the critical need to reduce the debt as she votes for Obamacare, cash for clunkers, and every big spending scheme Obama proposes. Senator McCaskill talks about the need for government accountability, while she personally profits from taxpayers, cruising around Missouri on her jet.

I think this is wrong. My plan is to cut spending, repeal healthcare, end the stimulus, stop earmarks, and balance the budget.

Please help me to get the word out about McCaskill's double-talk. Help me by contributing $25, to let Missourians know that we need to send Senator McCaskill home on the first flight out of D.C., at her expense.

Apparently it's too much to expect you to provide evidence. Typical
